Now offering NeuroStar Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Therapy

We are pleased to announce that NeuroStar Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Therapy is now available at Oasis Wellness Center for adolescents and adults age 15 and older.

TMS is a non-invasive, FDA-cleared treatment that uses gentle magnetic pulses to stimulate specific areas of the brain involved in mood and emotional regulation. It is designed for individuals who have not experienced sufficient improvement with medications or therapy alone.

Conditions We Treat with TMS

Treatment-Resistant Depression

If you have tried antidepressants and are still struggling with depression, TMS may help. Many patients experience meaningful improvement in mood, energy, motivation, sleep, and overall functioning.

TMS is:

  • Drug-free

  • Non-sedating

  • Performed in-office

  • Covered by many insurance plans for qualifying patients

You remain awake during treatment and can drive yourself home afterward.

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

TMS has also been cleared for certain forms of OCD. This treatment targets brain circuits involved in intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviors.

For individuals who continue to experience distressing obsessions or repetitive behaviors despite therapy or medication, TMS may offer another evidence-based option.

Anxiety Disorders

TMS may also benefit patients experiencing anxiety symptoms, particularly when anxiety occurs alongside depression. Many patients report improvement in both mood and anxiety during the course of treatment.

A personalized psychiatric evaluation will determine whether TMS is appropriate for your specific diagnosis and symptom pattern.

What to Expect

  • Treatments are typically given 5 days per week

  • A full course usually lasts 4–6 weeks

  • Each session lasts about 20–40 minutes

  • No anesthesia or recovery time is required

The most common side effects are mild scalp discomfort or headache during treatment, which usually improve over time.

TMS for Adolescents (Age 15+)

We now offer TMS for teens age 15 and older when clinically appropriate. Adolescents struggling with depression, OCD, or significant anxiety symptoms may be evaluated to determine if TMS is a safe and effective option as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.

Parental involvement and careful psychiatric assessment are always part of the process.

At Oasis Wellness Center, TMS is integrated into a full psychiatric care plan that may include:
